Terms of Service & Event Agreement
By purchasing a ticket and participating in this Dare to ‘Re-Treat’ event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Ticket Policy
- I acknowledge that this purchase is non-refundable.
- I understand that I may transfer my payment to another Dare to ‘Re-Treat’ event within a 12-month period, or transfer it to another participant.
- I acknowledge that, in the event of unforeseen circumstances by the host, the event may be rescheduled, relocated, or experience changes in speakers/presenters. I agree to these possible changes.
2. Nature of the Event
- I understand that this experience is designed for educational and wellness purposes only and does not constitute therapy, medical advice, or treatment.
- While Salima Jadavji is a licensed Social Worker/Psychotherapist, this event is not a substitute for professional care. It is intended to complement, not replace, any mental health support or therapeutic treatment I may be receiving.
- I agree to take responsibility for my emotional and physical well-being during and after the event.
3. Respectful Participation
- I agree to engage in a manner that is respectful, inclusive, and considerate of fellow participants, presenters, and staff.
- I understand that disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
4. Health and Safety
- I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal health and safety during the event.
- If I have any medical conditions, dietary needs, or sensitivities, I will take appropriate precautions.
- I release Dare to Heal / Dare to ‘Re-Treat’ and its affiliates from liability related to injury, illness, or loss arising from participation.
5. Food & Dietary Disclaimer
- I acknowledge that while every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate dietary restrictions submitted in advance, Dare to ‘Re-Treat’ is not liable for adverse reactions to food consumed or items encountered during the event.
6. Force Majeure
- I acknowledge that Dare to Heal / Dare to ‘Re-Treat’ is not liable for any failure or delay in event performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather, strikes, venue closures, public health emergencies, or transportation disruptions.
7. Media Consent
- I consent to photographs and/or video recordings being taken during the event and used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, and future marketing materials.
- I agree that all rights to these images and videos are reserved by Dare to Heal / Dare to ‘Re-Treat’.
8. Communication Consent
- I agree to receive email communications related to this event, including reminders, updates, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- I understand that my contact information will be handled respectfully and will not be shared or sold.
